NDP MLA Candidate Evelyne Godfrey, formerly a UK Labour Party Member, has proposed a ban on showers, hairdryers and combs in order to combat climate change. “Showers involve hot water which requires energy to heat the water, as do hairdryers. A lot of that energy comes from fossil fuels which creates climate change,” Evelyne Godfrey told our Onion Reporter.

“Also most hair brushes and combs are made from plastic which also comes from fossil fuels. So I like to be the change I want to see in the world by not using hairbrushes, blow dryers and I also avoid showering as much as possible.”, Ms. Godfrey added.
