With the recent arson wildfires in BC, Alberta, last year’s arson wildfires in Quebec and other provinces, the summer of 2024 is shaping up to be another season of increased wildfires. But still many arsonists are none too happy. “People used to fear us and that gave us a certain amount of respect,” said local arsonist Joe. “But now every time one of us starts a wildfire the media blames it on ‘climate change’. I’m tired of not getting the credit.”

Joe added, “I knew Trudeau was killing jobs in all sorts of industries but I thought as an arsonist I was relatively safe. I guess I might have to find a career that still gets respect, like maybe a CBC journalist.”
