“After multiple requests by the Mount Allision Faculty Association (MAFA) to get involved in Middle East politics, we realized we were focusing too much on roads and local water/sewer issues.”, said Mayor Andrew Black.

“International issues are much more interesting.”, said councillor Mike Tower. “There are all these wars going on overseas, global pandemic treaties to flesh out, and gender studies programs that need to be set up in Afghanistan.”

Bruce Phinney also added, “Everything’s pretty much running like clockwork around here, except for maybe a few minor pot holes. So I feel we each have a lot of time to start focusing abroad.”
